LILLE VOKSEN - Short
A film for the children of alcoholism.
This film captures the silent reality of the 122,000 children in Denmark who grow up with an alcoholic parent — 1 in 10.
It is a childhood marked by constant psychological strain, where the emotional consequences often remain for a lifetime.
The story follows a child who has learned to survive by taking on responsibility far beyond their years. In an effort to protect the parent, the child develops a kind of sixth sense — instantly sensing whether the day will be good or bad, reading the smallest signs before they unfold into something larger.
